Welcome To Dreamwave!
The Dreamwave Network is an IRC network that was born out of the dream of a welcoming place to come and chat and not have to worry about the usual perils found on most IRC nets... ie hackers, nukers, porn advertisers, poor management and abusive IRCops.
On Dreamwave, you'll find a safe, friendly environment with some fun new things and an administration that is eager to hear your opinions, suggestions and ideas.
Dreamwave has services to enable you to register your own channels/chat rooms and configure them as you'd like, register your nickname and keep it your own, and send and receive memos to and from fellow chatters. We also have a channel and personal email forwarding service, bots available for registered channels and numerous other features. Help is available either through our HelpServ, any NetOp and these webpages.. They are there to help you with any questions you may have. You may also want to join #dreamwave if you have any questions.

Facilities
The Dreamwave IRC Network is different from others. We provide all the usual facilities, and much more besides! Here is a list of the facilities we provide here on Dreamwave:
Chanserv
A service which lets you register your own channel, to stop people from stealing it
Nickserv
A service which allows you to register your nickname, so others cant use it
Memoserv
A service which allows you to send memo's to your friends
Email for channels and users
This service gives all users with registered nicks a free nick@dreamwave.org.uk email address. In addition to this, channel founders may also have a channelname@dreamwave.org.uk email address, which forwards to all members of his/her channels acess list
For more information, or to set up any of these facilities, please speak to a NetOp in #dreamwave (those with an @ beside their name) and they will be happy to help! or email fruity@dreamwave.org.uk with your request... please include the name you would like used for your Dreamwave address as well as the address you would like it forwarded to... In the case of a channel email address include the name and address to add to the forward list for your channel.
